Tips on Surviving the Horror Mazes
Whether you’re a scare maze superfan or a first time maze go-er, here are our top tips for surviving a horror maze:
- Bring your support squad: While you’re sure to still enjoy horror mazes solo, bringing along friends or family can make the experience more fun, and may help your chances of making it out alive. Remember, there’s safety in numbers.
-
Know your limits: If watching Gremlins leaves you trembling in your seat, then perhaps the mazes are not for you. We also have scare zones and Fright Nights shows and entertainment which may be more your cup of tea. Don’t feel pressured to do something you’re not happy about, you can always build up to the scarier stuff.
-
Enjoy the experience: Please remember the actors may look terrifying but they are people too and their job is to scare you and make sure you have a brilliant time. Please treat them with respect and don’t touch them, they will only intentionally touch you in Survival Games, so if you don’t want to be touched, avoid that maze! The more you vibe with them, the better your experience will be.
-
Play along: It may feel very real at times, but everything about the mazes is (thankfully) all for show. Play along but don’t take anything too seriously….we’re not really going to suck your soul and leave you for dead on a dirty nightclub floor….honest.
